I want to store some wine

I'm getting ready to move into a new house I built. I have a wine fridge that will hold 120 bottles dual zone. I'm new to drinking wine and would like to start buying some wines that I can store for 5-25 years.

From my understanding Bordeaux wine is good to store. Does it make any sense in buying wines that are below $50 to store for that long of a time?

What would be a good way to start/learn about buying wine now for future drinking?

Thanks.
