Suggestions for a budget wino in France.
Hi /r/wine, sorry to ask a question that you seem to get a lot but I was wondering if any of you have any specific advice for someone travelling through France and wanting to really experience some of the wine regions without much money to do so?
For a bit more information, I am a recent university graduate (hence the not much money) and I'll be spending 2 months in France with around 10 days in Bordeaux, a week in Burgundy, and 2 weeks in Champagne-Ardenne with some other assorted stops along the way (such as Toulouse and Grenoble). Do you have any suggestions for good places to visit, or wine bars to try, or underrated vineyards for someone who wants to learn more about wine and expand their palate but doesn't have the money for major wine tours or visits to Château Cheval Blanc?
