Could someone give me a really simplified taste guide to common reds and whites. I'd like to be able to describe what I'm drinking.
What would you say are the most popular/common/well known reds and whites and how do they taste typically (if it's even possible to generalise them)? What words would you use to describe a wine? What's the taste difference between red, white and rose in general? (I can tell the difference but can't describe it) I'm getting a job at a pub and would need to be able to describe the wines to the customers.
