Screw cap wine, store/cellar upright? via /r/wine

Screw cap wine, store/cellar upright?

I've quite a bit of screw cap wine, lower price or higher end wines like Clonakilla Shiraz/Viognier.

I wonder if there are any problems with cellaring/ageing those wines upright? For 5-10+ years? Being screw cap they wouldn't run into the problem of cork drying out/leaking, and other common cork problems.

Anyone had older screw cap wines? What's your experience with them years down the road?
