What old wine do you plan to open this year?
I am always a bit worried when opening a older bottle, since so many things could go wrong during its time in the cellar, or it could be corked to begin with.
It's so rewarding when it's still alive and amazing tho!
Had the 2000 Leoville Barton yesterday, a bit disappointed by it's rather nice and complex nose, but then falls short on the palate, the finish fades away a bit too quickly as well.
