How’s the wine scene & industry in St. Louis, Missouri?
Anyone live in St. Louis or happen to be familiar with the wine/food/restaurant scene?
I've been in the wine biz for about 14 years, currently working in wholesale. My fiancee is working on a post-doc and when she is done in two years we aren't sure where we will end up. St. Louis is a hub for her industry (research in biotech/agriculture). So its feasible she could get a job offer there. We're going to visit the city this summer. She is going to be doing some field work with some other scientists there and I'm going to tag along for a long weekend.
In addition, anyone have restaurant recommendations or suggestions of stuff to do? We're huge plant people so will definitely be visiting the botanical gardens there.
