Have you worked crush/harvest in Europe?
I'm a 31yo U.S. citizen; I snagged my level 2 certified sommelier through the court of master somm's in November; been working as the somm / wine buyer at a french restaurant this past winter in Vail, Co, and now I'm looking for the next step. I'd like to go work a season of harvest / crush in Europe. The loose framework in my head is that I'll start in burgundy and follow harvest into alsace, austria, and germany. I'm only just starting my research and thought I'd reach out to reddit ad well. Has anyone here worked harvest in Europe? What was your experience like? Any recommendations to get going?
